At SEM, we like to pair this with Potable Aqua Tablets for a tiny, compact, emergency water purification kit. For particularly nasty water, we like to treat first with mechanical filtration through a clean cloth or bandanna, then treat with the Potable Aqua tablets, then filter through the Frontier Filter Straw.
