Palmer Furnace Kit
The Palmer Furnace Kit is a compact emergency shelter and warmth kit intended for use during unexpected underground delays or extended stops in cold environments. The kit is packaged in a durable 6-mil poly bag to help keep contents clean and dry and is designed for compact storage in cave packs or expedition gear.
The kit includes items to build a Palmer Furnace, a method historically used within the caving community for managing heat loss in cold, wet environments.
